For backpage.com the end is near
WASHINGTON (AP) — Classified website Backpage.com closed its adult ad section Monday night and replaced it with a red “censored” sign that protests what it calls “unconstitutional government censorship.” California officials have said they intend to pursue new charges against the company based on new evidence.
Censored ads move to “dating”
Backpage.com being one of the frequently used classified advertising portals is now ceased to operate. Incepted in the year 2004, it uses to offer multiple classified listings including job listings, real estate services, vehicles, housing, personals and several other products. The website was the most responsive meta search engine sites providing instant search results from thousands of search engine sites.
